This unusual contract involved the removal of a floor from a 30 meter diameter tank. Beech had to carefully remove the existing floor which had been coated with an epoxy resin. The old floor was then cut up within the tank and to do this Beech had to cut their way into the side to make an entrance to the tank. The client then jacked up the outside of the tank so that a new floor could be installed. Beech personnel were heavily involved in advising on the method employed in this project.
