The Beech Group have been involved in site remediation since 1997 when it bought the rights to the heavy metal treatment system called MBS. We shelved the project in 2000 as the UK did not seem ready to do clean-ups. Instead, continuing to dig and dump endlessly. Now we are back.
Recently we designed the remediation strategy for the former bus depot at Bowes Street in Manchester. The proposals were accepted by the EA and the Council and the Beech Group then broke out the concrete slab, excavated the entire 2.5 hectares and cleaned the site up to become housing. The Beech Group is a one stop shop for large scale projects.
Areas of hydrocarbon contamination were treated with bugs and the clean product was left on site, for more details see the newsitem
